PUSAG honours Stonebwoy

PUSAG Executives presenting citation to Stonebwoy

The Private University Students Association of Ghana (PUSAG) has awarded Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known in the Showbiz industry as Stonebwoy.

The PUSAG executives led by President of the Association, Alswel Annan, presented the honorary award to the ‘Tuff Seed’ hitmaker for his immense contributions towards the development of the Ghana Entertainment Industry.

The BET award winner was presented the citation at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Accra, on Friday February 7, 2020.

Part of the citation read: “We acknowledge your struggles to the top, role model to many Ghanaian Students and appreciate you for your time and efforts in being part of the PUSAG dream”.

Stonebwoy, on receiving the award, expressed his appreciation and promised to collaborate with PUSAG in championing the youth course.

“I am very glad to be recognized and be appreciated by your outfit. It is a clear manifestation of the good works we have been doing in the creative industry. I’m honoured,” Stonebwoy expressed.

The ‘Go Higher’ hitmaker added that, he is “poised to partner and feature in all subsequent PUSAG events”.

Stonebwoy, is a Ghanaian Afropop, dancehall and reggae singer. He is the CEO of Burniton Music Group.

He won the Best International Act: Africa category at the 2015 BET Awards and Artist of the Year at the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

He is recognized as one of the best reggae and dancehall artist in Africa. He is a global ambassador for sanitation. In September 2019, he was made the brand ambassador for Voltic Natural Mineral Water.
