COVID-19: Ghana's confirmed cases hit 24

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has confirmed three (3) more cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

This takes the total number of recorded cases in the country from twenty-one (21) to twenty-four (24) with one (1) recorded death.

According to an update from the GHS, the twenty-three (23) existing “cases are being managed in isolation; and are doing well on treatment”.

“With regards to contact tracing, a total of 575 contacts have been identified and are being tracked,” the Service added.

Among the confirmed cases, seventeen (17) are of Ghanaian nationality and seven (7) other nationals namely: Norway, Lebanon, China, France, UK.
