The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has debunked a report circulating on social media that some seven (7) serving soldiers have contracted coronavirus (COVID-19).

The GAF in a statement signed by its Director of Public Relations, Colonel Aggrey-Quarshie, described the report as “a false publication” which “should be disregarded” by the public.

“We further wish to take this opportunity to caution individuals involved in publishing fake news to desist from the practice,” the statement cautioned.
